MILVERTON
CHILDREN ENTERTAINED
Milverton Labour Party gave its annual Christmas party for about 100 children in the Victoria Rooms on Saturday. Throughout the year, the members of the social committee work for the treat and raise funds with whist drives and other events. After tea, the young guests were amused by the entertainer and Mr. Leonard PIKE, the prospective Labour candidate, then handed a prize to each child. Community singing was led by Mr. Ern REDWOOD. Mrs. L. REDWOOD and her committee were thanked for the excellent arrangements.
