WAS DEVOTED WORKER FOR CHURCH
Funeral of Mr. E. C. GRANGER
The funeral of Mr. Edwin Charles GRANGER (63), of “Orchansy,” Wells Road, Westfield, Radstock, whose death occurred at his home on January 6, took place on Tuesday, when there was a service at Westfield Methodist Church, where he had been a devoted worker for many years.
For about 30 years he owned a grocery business at Wells Road, Radstock, where he made many friends. Over four years ago he was forced to give up his work through ill-health.
The service was conducted by the minister (Pastor C. H. DENCH) and the organist was Mr. B. HICKS. The hymns were “The Lord's my Shepherd” and “O Thou who camest from above.”
BIBLE CLASS BEARERS
Four friends of the Bible Class, of which Mr. GRANGER was vice-president for some years, were bearers. They were Messrs. S. and D. ASHMAN, F. HICKS and P. GRIFFEN.

FLORAL TRIBUTES
The floral tributes included a cross, in loving remembrance, from his sorrowing wife, son and daughter (Daisy, Brian and Joan).
