SOUTH PETHERTON.
On Tuesday last an accident occurred to William MARTIN a labouring man. On going to the pump for water the flag-stone which covers the well gave way and fell in, and the poor man also with it, to a depth of 40 feet. Assistance being near to was soon drawn out, not much hurt, and is now doing well.
