A Quaker's meeting was held in the Undenominational Chapel at Waterrow on Sunday evening by Messrs W. BROWN and JACK.
The recent very heavy and continuous rains have destroyed the hopes of a good hay harvest. A very large acreage has now been down for more than a week.
E COMPANY 2ND SOMERSET V. B. - This company mustered ell <sic> for church parade on Sunday last. The officers present were Captain BERE, Lieut. E L HANCOCK and Lieut. KNOLLYS, the sermon was preached by the Rev. W. NICHOLETTS, the chaplain of the battalion.
