STOKE ST. MARY.

ON MONDAY MORNING the deputy coroner for West Somerset (Dr. G. CORDWENT) held an inquest at the Half Moon inn, on the body of John PESTER, labourer, aged 23, who was found dead at Stoke St. Mary on Friday morning. The evidence went to show that the deceased, who had never been known to have a day’s illness, started out to go to his work on Friday morning early, and after some time he was found outside the chapel by Henry HARVEY, who worked with deceased. Deceased belonged to the Shepherd’s Society. Sarah HARDWILL deposed that she found no marks of violence on the body. The jury returned a verdict to the effect that deceased died from inexplicable natural causes.
