A Roll of Honour has been received from the Society.

ROBERTS, Elsie PIKE, and Gertrude CORAM. Standard V. - Eva? MARCHANT and Ethel CHEDZEY.

WINTRY WEATHER. - Although March is nearly out, the snow, rain, and gale of the early part of the week have been unprecedented in North Petherton and district. The surrounding hills have been covered with snow, whilst the slush and rain have made the roads difficult for vehicular and other traffic. Stockmoor and other low-lying districts have been inundated. On Monday night, and well into Tuesday the wind was blowing with hurricane fore <sic>, rendering it dangerous to be out of doors.

LATE VICAR'S COMMISSION. - The many friends of the Rev. P. T. PRYCE-MICHELL, for many years the much-respected vicar of North Petherton, and who was recently presented with a handsome testimonial by the parishioners on his resignation, will be interested to learn that he has been gazetted, from March 21st, as a lieutenant in the 12th Observation Company of the Territorial Reserve (General List). The rev. gentleman has been actively identified with many public bodies, and was a member of the Bridgwater Board of Guardians and Rural District Council, while he was a generous supporter of the Hospital and other local charitable and philanthropic institutions. He enjoyed much popularity, and his many friends will wish him ever success in his new career.
