CURRY RIVEL.

AN INTERESTING FIND. - Mrs. M. COUSINS recently unearthed at a depth of two feet an interesting old medal in the form of a pendant. The medal is two and a quarter inches in diameter and bears the following inscriptions:- On one side round the head and bust in high relief “Ludovic XIII. D.G., Francor et Navaræ Rex” (Louis XIII. by the grace of God King of the French and of Navarre), and on the other side “Anna Augusta Galliae et Navaræ Regina” (Anna Augusta Queen of France and Navarre). Louis XIII., born 1601, became King of France on the assassination of Henry IV., the famous Protestant and warrior King, who gave toleration to the persecuted Protestants in the years 1610. He married Anna of Austria in 1615, when he was only 14 years old. He died in 1643. His sister, Henrietta Maria, married Charles I., King of England, and brought over a great retinue of French people to reside in England.
