INFECTIOUS DISEASE. - The Deputy-Medical Officer reported that he had received no notices of further cases of scarlet fever to the present. Several cases of measles had been reported from Barrington. A case of diphtheria at Whatley had been received into the Isolation Hospital. As the three cases already in the Hospital were suffering from scarlet fever he had opened the other ward, and engaged a nurse from Taunton Hospital.
