FUNERAL OF MR. WILLIAM MALE. - The remains of the late Mr. William MALE, whose death was reported in our last issue, were conveyed by motor hearse from Weymouth to Crewkerne on Thursday, and the funeral took place at the Cemetery in the afternoon, the Rev. C. H. D. LEWIS (vicar) conducting the service. The mourners were:- Mr. S. R. LEWIS (grandfather), Messrs. C., A. H., Edgar, and Arthur CHILDS (brothers-in-law), Messrs. Gen. GOSNEY and Harry MALE (uncles), Lieutenant J. MALE, Messrs. P. ROLLS and S. MAYLE?? (Weymouth), M. J. LEWIS, and F. G. CHRISTOPHER. The Freemasons were represented by Messrs., W. C. HOWE, E. H. HARP, W. C. SPARROW, G. H. GOULD, J. F. SAUNDERS, F. GEE, F. G. HANDEL, J. ENGLAND, and E. O. EDMUNDS. The coffin was of polished oak, with brass fittings. Amongst the wreathes were one from the “Parrett and Axe” Lodge of Freemasons and the G.W. R. Company's (Weymouth) employees.
