BARRINGTON.

THE HALF-YEARLY BREAK-UP of the Royal Oak Cork Club was celebrated on Thursday evening. A good cold spread was provided by the host (Mr. A. CORNELIUS), and the Barrington Brass Band gave some good selections during the evening. A capital programme was carried out in the spacious club-room upstairs, under the chairmanship of Mr. F. W. KENT. Mr. A. MARSH presided at the piano, and Mr. T. LANG assisted with the violin. The evening concluded with thanks to all concerned for organising a well-spent evening and “God Save the King.”
