TRAGIC DEATH IN THE STREET. - The death occurred with tragic suddenness on Friday morning of Mrs. Charlotte TRUST, aged 74 years, wife of ex-Sergt. TRUST, of the Royal Marine Light Infantry, a Crimean War veteran. It appears that shortly before noon Mrs. TRUST was walking through Haydon-road. She stopped to speak to Mr. C. MINETT, the town missionary, and while conversing with him suddenly complained of giddiness. Mr. MINETT obtained a chair from a house near by, but the unfortunate woman had only been seated a few minutes when she collapsed, and expired before the arrival of Dr. A. E. JOSCELYNE, who had been sent for. The remains were taken on an ambulance to the mortuary by P.C.'s DAVIS and BARNETT. Deceased, who lived with her husband at Marine Cottage, Holway, had been receiving medical attention for heart trouble. The facts were communicated to the Coroner, but an inquest was not deemed to be necessary.
