FUNERALOF MR. W. HOOPER. - The funeral took place at St. Mary's Cemetery on Friday of Mr. William HOOPER, of 24, Gray's-road, who died at the age of 69. Mr. HOOPER was for thirty-three years on the staff of the G.W.R. Building Department at Taunton Station. The mourners were:- Mr. and Mrs. K. BURROUGHS (son-in-law and daughter), Mr. and Mrs. H. J. HOOPER (brother and daughter-in-law), Mrs. E. DAY and Mrs. BRINKWORTH, of Gloucester (nieces), Mr. G. CUMMINGS, and Mr. F. LOIDE. Mr. E. DAVIES, of the G.W.R., was represented by Mr. W. WILLIAMS. The inscription on the coffin, which was of unpolished oak, was:- “William Hooper, died July 26th, aged 60 years.”
