PRESENTATION TO MR. F.SHARP. - An interesting ceremony took place in the printing department of the Somerset County Herald, when Mr Frank SHARP, who has been employed there for about 30 years, was presented with a leather suit case, bearing his monogram, from his colleagues on leaving to commence a business near Woking, Surrey. Mr. A. T. BURLAND (manager), who made the presentation, also handed Mr. SHARP a cheque for a substantial amount, the gift of his employers. Mr. BURLAND spoke of the high esteem in which Mr. SHARP had always been held by the staff, and wished him every success in his new sphere of labour, sentiments which were heartily endorsed by members of the various departments of the firm. - The recipient suitably acknowledged the gifts.
