BATHPOOL.

NO RAFFLES AT CHURCH SALE

FULL VALUE FOR MONEY”

To allow no raffles of any kind, but to earn the money by giving full value in goods or entertainment” is the declared intention of All Saints' Church workers, Bathpool, when they hold a sale of work in the summer, primarily to raise funds for the installation of an up-to-date heating apparatus.

It is also proposed to give one-tenth of the nett proceeds to the work of the Church Overseas.

The estimated cost of an efficient apparatus is about £70, and the following members of the congregation, with the approval of the churchwardens and Parochial Council, have consented to constitute a Committee to make efforts to raise the sum:- The Rector, Rev. C. A. HUTCHINSON (chairman), Mrs. NICHOLSON, Mrs. G. REDLER, Mrs. EREAUT, Messrs. G. NICHOLSON, J. Carthew BAKER, J. MILLINGTON (hon. treasurer), and Rev. A. EREAUT.
