DEATH OF MRS. C. HAWKINS.
Considerable sympathy has been expressed with Mr. Clifford HAWKINS, of 8, Holway Hill, in the great loss he has sustained by the death of his wife, Mabel, aged 43. She had only been ill a week and passed away from double pneumonia and pleurisy, on Saturday morning. Mrs. HAWKINS was the only daughter of the late Mr. J. R. STEVENS, and of Mrs. STEVENS, the Black Horse Hotel, Taunton, and was well-known and highly respected. Her husband, who is left with a young daughter, is manager of the Taunton Cooperative Society's furnishing department. The funeral will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery this afternoon (Wednesday), preceded by a service at Holy Trinity Church.
