MARRIAGE OF MR. J. W. BRUFORD.
CEREMONY AT SEVENOAKS.
Mr. John William BRUFORD, third son of Mr. Robert BRUFORD, of Fons George House, Taunton, chairman of Taunton Rural Council and a former Member of Parliament for the Wells Division, was married at Sevenoaks Parish Church on Saturday to Miss Betty RONALD, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. RONALD, of The Glen, Linden Chase, Sevenoaks.
The ceremony was performed by Rev. Dr. C. W. C. INGLES, of Cheddon, assisted by Rev. E. L. LANGSTON.
The bride, who wore a dress of silver and white lame, and carried a bouquet of Harrisii lilies, was attended by six bridesmaids, Misses Nell BRUFORD, Mary COCK, Anne FRASER, Mary FOX, Eve COCK, and Elizabeth COCK, who wore blue velvet and carried bouquets of variegated anemones. Mr. Jess BRUFORD, the former Taunton and Somerset Rugby player, was “best man.”
Over 400 guests were present at the reception at the Wilderneese Country Club.
