THE LATE MRS. J. PERRIN

The funeral took place at the Parish Church on Tuesday of Mrs. Eva Mary PERRIN, of North-street, who died on Friday at the age of 64. A native of High Ham, Mrs. PERRIN was a daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. Henry SMALL, of St. Cleers Farm, and the widow of Mr. John PERRIN, who successfully farmed Mowries Farm up to the time of his death 11 years ago. Mrs. PERRIN had been living in the town for about 36 years, and she carried on the farming business for two years after her husband's death before retiring. She was a former vice-president of the Women's Institute, and for a number of years was a school manager. She leaves one daughter.

The Vicar, Rev. L. J. JACKSON, R.D., officiated at the funeral, and the family mourners were: Mr. and Mrs. K. DOWDING (son-in-law and daughter), Mr. J. P. SMALL (brother), Mr. C. SMALL (nephew), Mr. A. LAVIS, High Ham (cousin), Mr. E. KEEVIL, Low Ham (friend). There was a large general attendance, including members of the Women's Institute, who also sent a wreath.
