UNSUCCESSFUL SEARCH AT WATCHET.

In spite of great diligence on the part of the police and voluntary searchers, no trace has been found of the two-years-old boy, William BINDING, who so mysteriously disappeared from his home a week ago last Friday. It is believed that the boy fell into a stream and was washed out to sea, and a close watch has daily been kept along the immediate coast from Porlock to the River Parrett.

While scouring the coast from Minehead to Hurlstone Point a searcher had a perilous experience. A westerly gale forced up the tide and prevented his getting round the point, and as he was unable to return he had to scale the cliffs, a hazardous task, from which he emerged safely, thought the climb left him greatly exhausted.
