LONG SUTTON.

SHEEP WORRYING. - On Saturday morning, thre <sic> dogs got into a field in the parish of Long Sutton, and worried 23 sheep and lambs. One of the ewes seemed to have got away in the Langport Road, thus saving her life. The other 22 were driven to the Rhine, and were drowned. Fortunately only three lambs were killed by the dogs, as Mr. Jeffry DENHAM, who lives near, saw the dogs chasing the lambs, and went to the field. The police were communicated with, and used every effort to trace the dogs and their owners. Great sympathy is felt for the owner in his loss.
