CURRY RIVEL.
DEATH. - Emily BURGE, seven years of age the daughter of Mr and Mrs Thos. BURGE, Townsend, was buried on Tuesday of last week at Curry Rivel, after a painful illness. The officiating clergy were the Revs. H. SPEKE and G. W. HOUNSFIELD. The headmaster, teachers and scholars of the Curry Rivel School attended the funeral and subscribed for a handsome wreath for the deceased.
WEDDING. - The marriage of Mr William HARRIS, of Westover, and Miss Rose PERRY, of Curry Rivel, was solemnised at St. Andrew's Church on Easter Monday. The bride, who was given away by her father, was prettily attired in a cream dress with hat to match. Mr. H. COATE, of Stathe, acted as best man. The bridesmaids wore dresses of cream nuns-veiling, trimmed with pale blue silk. The presents were numerous and useful, including one presented by the teachers of the Day School, where the bride had taught for several years.
