HARDINGTON.

DEATH OF MISS LILIAN VOIZEY. - The many friends of Miss L. VOIZEY, eldest daughter of Mr Thomas VOISEY, a particularly well-known and highly respected inhabitant of the village, learnt with the utmost sorrow of her sudden and unexpected death from heart strain last week. She died at Isle Brewers, where she had the sole and responsible charge of a large cheese dairy. The interment took place at Hardington, her home, where she had endeared herself to one and all. Amongst those who on Saturday attended the funeral, besides relatives, were Messrs. GLYDE, Bushfurlong Farm, Isle Brewers (late employer), A. GENGE, H. SANDIFORD, Gascombe, J. S. PARTRIDGE, W. WHITE, W. WATTS, F. SPEARING, F. PURCHASE, &c. - The curate of the parish, Rev C. R. MILLIGAN, B.A., addressing the mourners in a special sermon on Sunday morning referred to the happy and successful work of the deceased in the parish – first as a pupil teacher at the school, and afterwards as a supplementary teacher, also as a deputy-organist and member of the choir. The greatest sympathy is felt for the bereaved parents.
[MR AND MRS THOMAS VOIZEY (Hardington) wish to gratefully acknowledge the many kind messages of sympathy and wreaths sent to them in their recent sad loss, and hope that should they be unable to answer all individually, this will be taken as a expression of thanks].
