ILMINSTER.

WESLEYANISM. - The Rev. W. H. PARR who has been stationed at Sidmouth for the past three years, has been appointed to this town for the ensuing year.

SWINE FEVER. - The premises of Mr. E. COX, Allowenshay, have been declared free from swine fever; also the premises of Mr. GILL, Chillington, and of Mr. S. PALMER, Horton Farm. - At a meeting of the sub-committee, held at the Court House, on Tuesday, Mr. Supt. GERITY reported that swine fever existed on the premises of Mr. John DIBBEN, Cadd Farm, Ilton, nine pigs being affected; also on the premises of Mr. J. KIBBEY, Hornsbury, 53 pigs; and on the premises of Mr. J. B. WINDSOR, Hatch Beauchamp. An order was made for the immediate slaughter of the pigs affected, and half the value was awarded as compensation.
