Births, Marriages, & Deaths.

In future a fee of 1/- will be charged for the insertion of Births, Marriages, and Deaths, not exceeding 24 words, with an extra 3d for every additional six words, for cash with order only. If booked, an additional charge of 6d will be made, and the minimum credit charge will be 2/-. No announcement will be accepted unless authenticated by the name and address of the sender.

Paragraph announcements of Weddings in our news columns will in future be charged for at the rate of 1d per word.

In Memoriam Notices and Silver Weddings will be charged at 2/6 for the first four lines, and 6d for each additional line with the exception of verses of poetry, for which the charge will be 1/- per line.

A devoted husband, a faithful son.

One of the best that God could own,

He bravely answered duty's call.

His life he gave for one, for all.

But the unknown grave is the bitterest blow,

No, none but the aching heart can know.

Not forgotten by his Wife, Parents, Brother, and Sisters. [19213

GILBERT. - In ever-loving memory of my dear husband, Private A. W. GILBERT, Berks Regiment, who has been reported missing in France since November 14th, 1916. Sadly missed by his loving wife and daughter; also from his loving father, mother, brothers, and sisters. [c

JACOBS.- In loving memory of Ronald Frank Perren JACOBS, Royal Naval Division, who fell in action at Beaumont Hamel, France, November 13th, 1916, the only and dearly-loved son of Frank and Ada JACOBS, Greystoke, Penzance, and grandson of the late James JACOBS, of Barrington Court, Ilminster.

Upright in life, fearless and noble in death.”

Interred in the Ancre British Cemetery, Beaumont Hamel. [46280
