MARRIAGE OF MR. W. MALE AND MISS AMY CHILDS. - The marriage was solemnized at St. Bartholomew's Church, Crewkerne, on Wednesday, of Mr. William Robert John MALE (Weymouth), son of the late Mr. William MALE (Crewkerne), and grandson of Mr. S. R. LEWIS, and Miss Amy CHILDS, fourth daughter of Mr. Charles CHILDS, of West-street, Crewkerne. The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. H. Durbin LEWIS (vicar) in the presence of a large congregation. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a costume of powder blue with a large picture hat. Mr. Edgar CHILDS (brother) acted as “best man.” The happy pair left for Weymouth in the afternoon. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a cheque and the bride to the bridegroom a gold ring. The presents were numerous and costly.
