Mr. W. G. HADDOCK, of Wyck House, Sidmouth, who died on November 21 last, aged 93, left £13,614 gross, with net personalty £5,446. He bequeathed £100 to Sarah TRUMAN, housekeeper, and the residue to his children and the issue of any that may be dead.
Mrs. I. H. GRESLEY, of Falkland-road, Torquay, who died on January 1 last, aged 87 years, widow of Nigel GRESLEY, left £6,507 gross, with net personalty £5,630. Probate has been granted to Mr. S. H. S. HAYNES, solicitor, of St. John's Lodge, Braddons Hill-road West, Torquay.
Rev. H. J. KNIGHT, of 112, Petersfield-road, Hall Green, Birmingham, formerly Baptist minister at Taunton, who died on September 16 last, left £4,325 gross, with net personalty £1,843.
Mr. C. M. B. BYLES, of Rowford Lodge, Cheddon Fitzpaine, Taunton, who died on January 9 last, aged 66 years, left £99,267 gross, with net personalty £94,168. (Duty paid, £24,517.) He bequeathed £20,000 each to his sister, Helen F. GUBBINS, and brother, Maj. Harold V. B. BYLES; £500 each to Violet E. C. COOKSON and Ursula E. FOSTER; legacies to servants, and the residue to his brother Harold.
Mr. H. F. STEPHENS, of 64, Whiteford-road, Plymouth, left £1,695 gross, with net personalty £943. Probate has been granted to his widow, Mrs. A. L. STEPHENS, of the same address, and his son, Mr. W. H. J. STEPHENS, of 4, Restormel-terrace, Plymouth.
