On the 2nd instant, at Bishop's Hull, Mr. John MASEY, to Caroline, eldest daughter of the late Mr. ELESON, cattle dealer, Uffculme.

On the 5th instant, at Stogumber church, by the Rev. J. R. VERNON, William, second son of Mr. J. CRIDDLE, to Jane, fourth daughter of Mr. James LOVELL, both of Stogumber.

On the 10th instant, at St. Peter's church, Everton, Liverpool, by the Rev. S. B. SUTTON, M.A., Mr. Robert PITTAWAY, of Watchet, to Mary, eldest daughter of Mr. James WARD, of Vexford, Stogumber.

On the 2nd instant, at Hope chapel, Manchester, by the Rev. R. MONTGOMERY, Edward BROOK, M.D., second son of Benjamin BROOK, Esq., of Salford-house, Manchester, to Annie, youngest daughter of the late Mr. R. HOUSE, of Taunton.

On the 10th instant, at St. Peter's church, Everton, Liverpool, by the Rev. S. B. SUTTON, M.A., Mr. John MALE, of Stratton, near Ilminster, to Mary Ellen, only daughter of Mr. George HOUGHTON, of 65, Roscommon-street, Everton, Liverpool.

DEATHS.

On the 31st instant, at Fiddington, Mr. Thomas COOK, aged 40 years.

On the 12th instant, at West Luccombe, Mr. William LEE, aged 94 years.

On the 30th ultimo, at the Alms-house, Wellington, William ALAWY, aged 80 years.

On the 7th instant, at Treborough, Mr. James BRYANT, aged 83 years, much respected.

On the 7th instant, at Milverton, the widow of the late Mr. Thomas MAY, aged 68 years.

On the 7th instant, at Milverton, after a long illness, Mr. James ADDICOTT, aged 68 years.

On the 10th instant, at the Anchor inn, Highbridge, Mr. Henry NORMAN, very much respected.

On the 3rd instant, at East-gate, Taunton, Susan, widow of the late Mr. R. FARMER, aged 55 years.

On the 5th instant, at Parsons-street, Porlock, Emma, the daughter of Mr. William HAWKINS, aged 6 years.

On the 7th instant, at Gold-street, Tiverton, Lititia, the beloved wife of Mr. W. DINNICOMBE, saddler, aged 48 years.

On the 6th instant, at Milverton, after an illness of short duration, Mr. J. J. HUNT, aged 75 years, deeply lamented by a very large circle of relatives and friends.

On the 23rd November, at Etna, New York, U.S., the Rev. Charles ELLIOTT, aged 63 years. Previously to his leaving for America in 1850, he had been pastor of the Baptist church, Minehead, for seventeen years.
