DRAMATIC LICENSE. - At the police-court, on Wednesday, Mr. George SAUNDERS, landlord of the London Hotel, applied for a dramatic license for the assembly-rooms of that house. He put in a certificate signed by Mr. J. H. SMITH, borough surveyor, and Mr. T. HAMMETT, engineer, which stated that the room was now quite safe and well adapted for stage plays and other representations. The alterations recently made to the exits, the staircase, and other parts of the building, had rendered the arrangements thoroughly efficient for the rapid emptying of the room in case of emergency. The magistrates granted the license for a year.
