  • Cruikshank, Ernest A. “Capt. John Walden Meyers, Loyalist Pioneer.” Ontario Historical Society Vol XXXI (1936): 11-55. • Mathews, Hazel C. Frontier Spies: The British Secret Service, Northern Department, During the Revolutionary War. Fort Meyers, FL: Ace Press, 1971.  Includes some discussion of John Walden Meyers, the Schulyer Raid, and the secret service that directed Meyers’ activities. See link at OneDrive.
  • McBurney, Christian M. “The Plot to Kidnap Schuyler.” Journal of the American Revolution, 16 Jan 2014. This very good article puts the Schuyler raid in broader context. See this printable link at allthingsliberty.com.
