Scarletgen's Elusive SCOTT Family

Albert SCOTT

He was likely born Bridewater, Oneida County, New York June 1827. He married Mary BOND they had one daughter, Ida SCOTT. Albert came with his father, Horace M. SCOTT to Wisconsin and took up a blacksmith company called "Scott Brothers" with his two brother's Charles & Edmund SCOTT at Beloit, WI 1860's.

Eventually, they settled at Fargo in Cass County, North Dakota by 1880 where they lived for many years. Ida married Ahimaaz E. WOOD a native widower of Onagonda County, NY who settled at Fargo, ND. Ida had passed away by 1900 census & Ahimaaz was boarding with Albert & Mary SCOTT. Ages and dates of birth vary so much for Albert, Montana Death Index has his death date as February 12, 1919 & 96 years old. Seems Albert may have been living with his grandson, Albert Bond WOOD, who lived in Phillips Co., MT 1920 with his wife Ada Bernice ______, their child Peggy WOOD & a border.
