He married Clara M. Hackett whose parents were Bridget Meagher, 1797-1876 and Michael Hackett, d. 1875? Clara died 17 Mar 1932, (see her death cert.). Peter was a machinist, Clara bought and sold homes, and rented out apartments.

Bridget Meagher, 1797-1876, married Michael Hackett. Both born in Ireland. Had the following children; John, Michael, Mary, Margaret, Patrick, Charles. Patrick Hackett married Dora Egan and they had the following offspring: Maire (Markey), Dora (Minahan), Wiliam, Gertrude (McNamara), Robert, Lucy (O'Hearn), Ella (Norton), Daniel, John, Clara (Schneider) my grandmother. I remember her when I was very young. You know the rest- Clara married Peter Schneider and had Viola (Haner), Hilda (Golata) - (Jan's Mother), Harry, Marcus, Clarence and my dad, Louis James. I don't know how much if any of this is news but here you have it. So Bridget would be your great-great-great grandmother. Right?

Peter J. Schneider is listed as 52 years of age living in his own mortgaged home at 393 Virginia Park, Detroit, with his wife, Clara M Hackett, 49 years of age, with his 3 youngest children, Clarence (23 years of age), Louis (21 years of age), and Marcus (18 years of age), and his father-in-law, Patrick C. Hackett, widowed and 83 years of age. Patrick is listed as being born in Ireland, immigrating to America in 1851, and being naturalized a citizen in 1885, and had the salaried occupation of Yard Master for a "Steam Railroad." Peter Schneider was a wage earner as a Toolmaker at a factory. His son Clarence was a Pharmacist at a drug store. Peter is listed as being born in Michigan, his father and mother born in Germany.

Marcus5 Schneider was born 20 Mar 1901, died Sep 1969. He married Margaret Thomas and they had, by the 1930 US Census, (see line 93) one child, Rose Marie, who was 4 years old that year.

Martin5 Schneider was born 8 Sep 1900. Here is the birth record for Martin, Seems Martin died before the 1910 Census, as he isn't listed with the family.
