He married Jacqueline Joan Bolin in Grosse Point, MI, June 1961. Jacqueline was born in Detroit, MI 1/19/1938, to Mr. and Mrs. Otis Bolin. She graduated from Grosse Pointe High School June 16, 1955. Linda Toomey graciously donated three items from Jacqueline's High School days. Jacqueline died 5/1/1989 in Detroit, MI, at 51 years of age. Death by cancer related pneumonia.

Maternal grandparents are Roger and Betty Eger of Marco Island, Fla. Paternal grandparents are the late Donald and Jacqueline Tischbein of Grosse Pointe Woods. Great-grandfather is Donald Tischbein of Sterling Heights.
