    OBITUARY
    BOND

    Wilma Ellen Bond, 62, of Staunton, was announced dead on arrival at Staunton Community Memorial Hospital at 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday Feb. 28, 1979. She had been a resident of Staunton since 1921.
    She was born August 4, 1916, in Oklahoma, a daughter of the late Harrison and Sarah Sawyer Poore.
    She was married to James Edward Bond on Oct. 7, 1939 in St. Charles, Mo. Her husband survives.
    Also surviving are sons, Jerome Dionne Bond of Livingston, Charles Arthur Bond of Bethalto, James Edward Bond, Jr. of Benld; sisters, Virginia Paulich of Tempe, Arizona; Irma Simons of Staunton, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
    Mrs. Bond was a member of the Christian Church in Staunton.
    Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at Landers Funeral Home in Staunton.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Max Jennings officiating.
    Burial will be in Staunton City Cemetery.
    The family suggests memorials be made to the Heart Fund.

    OBITUARY

    JEROME BOND

    LIVINGSTON- Jerome D. Bond, 48, died at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 1986, at Community Memorial Hospital in Staunton.
    He was a welder/laborer at Olin Corporation and was born in Staunton, a son of Edward Bond of Staunton and the late Wilma (Poore) Bond.
    He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, and married the former Betty A. Hainaut on Aug. 16, 1958, in Edwardsville. She survives.
    In addition to his wife and father, surviving are three daughters, Peggy Buse of Staunton, Tina Cuppett, and Dianna Gaston, both of Livingston; four grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Arthur Bond of Bethalto and Edward Bond of Benld; and a half-brother, LaVan Jarden of Marine.
    Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Thursday until time of services at Lesicko Funeral Home in Livingston.
    Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Staunton.
