    John Scroggins, 70, of 1503 E. 19th St., died Thursday evening at his home.

    His survivors are his wife Mrs. Catherine Dye Scroggins; three daughters, Mrs. Flossie Corlay, Miss Patricia Scroggins and Miss Martha Scroggins all of Chattanooga; three sons, Jerry, Tommy and Johnny Scroggins, all of Chattanooga; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

    Funeral plans will be announced by J. Avery Bryans. Body will at the residence after 5 o’clock this afternoon.

    Obituary:      Tommy Mack Scroggins, 60, of Rossville, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2006. He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia area and was of the Baptist faith. He was also employed with the City of Chattanooga & Warner Park Zoo for more than 8 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny & Catherine Scroggins and one brother, Jerry Perry Scroggins. Survivors include 5 daughters, Tina Acuff of Rossville, GA, Lisa Sprouse of Pulaski, TN, Flossie Scroggins & Sabrina Scroggins both of Rossville, GA, and Marquita Scroggins of Chattanooga, TN; 4 sons, Tommy Scroggins, Jr., Jerry Scroggins & John Scroggins all of Rossville, GA, and Albert Scroggins of Hixson, TN; brother, Johnny Scroggins of Chattanooga, TN; 3 sisters, Flossie Corley & Martha Ladd both of Chattanooga Valley and Patricia Southerland of Nashville, TN; 19 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
