She was the daughter of Bert & Rosalee Scritchfield Scroggins.

Wilma lived in the Phelps community her entire life. On September 18, 1943 she married Frank Reinholdt Standhart in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Frank courted Wilma since the age of 12 and together they shared 56 years of wedded bliss until his passing in 1999.

She worked as a farm wife and caregiver to the small community of which they lived. Wilma loved animals, especially cats and her dog Pee Wee, was an avid birdwatcher, enjoyed the outdoors, embroidering and reading, collecting recipes and cooking She was admired for her record keeping of pictures and took the time to make sure names were logged on pictures and records of family were kept clear back to the 1800's. Wilma was a Christian member of the Free Will Methodist Church of Phelps.

She is survived by son Frank Standhardt and wife Dee, Lockwood, brother, Ray Scroggins, Waterford, California; four grandchildren, Mitch Miller, Jodie Murray, Felicia Standhardt, Noah "Lee" Standhardt and great-granddaughter, Nevaeh Fox.

Her parents, husband, Frank, brother, Roy Scroggins, sister, Pearl Scroggins and infant twin siblings preceded her in death.
