    James and Nancy Scroggins were buried in what was called the "Scroggins Family Cemetery" located in a field on the family farm. First surveyed 1931 by Mr. Franklin Garrett of Cobb County. He gives the following: "The cemetery was originally located in District 18, land lot 781. the graves of James F. and his wife Nancy were moved to the Scroggins Kendley plot in the Davis Cemetery on Bankhead Highway. New markers were erected and the old inscription part were buried with the remains"
