  Searcy -- Syble Marie Scroggins, 79, of Searcy (White County), formerly of Warren, died December 17, 2002, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center at Searcy.
  
  She was born July 17, 1923, in Bradley County, a daughter of the late John Alvin Sloan and Lorena Bland Sloan.
  
  She was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church at Searcy.
  
  On March 8, 1940, she married Albert Scroggins. He died December 25, 1990.
  
  She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Grady Sloan, Guy Sloan and Willis Sloan; and two sisters, Maybell Turrell and Erma Lee Hall.
  
  Survivors include two daughters, Rosia Barnett of Searcy and Robbie Hogan of Pine Bluff; one sister, Jeanette Fowler of Perryville; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
  
  Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Trinity Baptist Church at Searcy. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Warren by Frazer's Funeral Home at Warren.
  
  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Roller Daniel Funeral Home at Searcy.
