   Margaret V. Preston
   
   Margaret V. Preston of Shawnee died Monday at a local hospital. She was 72.
   
   She was born July 24, 1927, in Sasakwa. She was the daughter of Dudley Scroggins and Ollie Mae (Robbins) Scroggins.
   
   She was a homemaker. She also worked for 12 years with Shawnee Garment Factory.
   
   She was married to Eugene Preston on July 24, 1945, in Seminole. Mrs. Preston grew up in Sasakwa, moving to Shawnee during her last year of high school.
   She lived in Shawnee most of her life.
   
   She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her busband who died Jan. 7, 1985; her daughter, Gail Ann Stuard and four brothers.
   
   Survivors include a son, Donald Gene Preston, Tuttle; two daughters and one son-in-law, Linda Sue Preston, Choctaw, and Phyllis Kay and Mike Ellis, Tecumseh; seven grandchildren, Cynthia L. Kibler, Gregory B. Burke, Kelli L. Townley, Clinton R. Dunavan, Crystal Dothard, Justin R. Ellis and Valerie J. Ellis; one great-grandson, Braxton Dothard; and a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lou and Ben King, Shawnee.
   
   Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Resthaven Funeral Home with Rev. J.C. Farrand officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
