john,
Benjamin died April 8, 1847 and he was 57 years old as stated in the Joliet Signal. I am trying to locate his land. All, I know is BlOCK 13 Lot 5 in Wilmington Township Illinois ....Lot was sold in may 1848 for back 1847 taxes. In 1855 the children tried to redeem lot back through Will county ill court...I am not sure how to find the land's location or research court records for more information...plz advise.
michelle
