Jimmy Dale Scroggins
1951 - 2002
Jimmy Dale Scroggins, of Jacksonville, passed away September 26, 2002 at the age of 51. He was born September 6, 1951 in Monticello, AR to James Milton and Vennie Verlon (Curtis) Scroggins.
Mr. Scroggins was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville and had worked for the Pulaski County School district for 18 years. He loved to hunt and fish. Everyone who knew him liked and enjoyed him very much. He will be well missed.
He is preceeded in death by his parents and one brother, Clifford Scroggins and one sister, Charlene Hall. Survivors include his wife, Jerri Scroggins; two sons, Jimmy Wade Scroggins and wife Tammy and Eddie Scroggins; one daughter, Christy Lynnette Parente and husband Nick; four sisters; Nina Waller, Joyce Scroggins, Fredia Graham and Debbie Morphis; two grandsons, Greg Owens and Connor Parente; two granddaughters, Loren Scroggins and Sara Scroggins; and two step grandchildren, Tiffany and Brett Parente.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 30, 2002 at Griffin-Leggett-Rest Hills Chapel, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, (501) 835-3515 with Reverend Hazel Clark officiating. Interment will follow at the Arkansas State Veteran?s Cemetery in North Little Rock. A gathering of friends and family will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, September 29, 2002 at the funeral home.
