    Service for Dottie Hancock, 57, of Paradise, was Tuesday, May 21, at Victory
    Family Church in Decatur with the Rev. Allen Bates, Chaplain Gentry Castleman
    and the Rev. John Hancock officiating. Burial was in Hog Branch Cemetery.
    Hancock died Saturday, May 18, 2002, in Bridgeport.
    She was born Feb. 20, 1945, in Clarksdale, Miss. She married Carroll Hancock
    Oct. 14, 1967, in Jackson, Miss. She was a member of Victory Family Church.
    She is survived by her husband; two sons, Billy Turner and his wife Lisa of
    Sweeney and Stan Denney and his wife Kathy of Boyd; four daughters, Becky King
    and her husband Dale of Forest, Miss., Debbie Johnson of Fort Worth, Darlene
    Lindsey and her husband Larry of Chico and Judy Scroggins and her husband
    Russell of Boyd; a brother, Norman Sparks and his wife Linda of Boyd; 10
    grandchildren, Renea Shepard and her husband David, Amber Galloway and her
    husband Rowdy, Dwayne Taylor and his wife Marsha, Sammy Taylor, Steven Denney,
    Greg Denney, Aubrey Turner, Stancy Denney, Keri Turner and Robert Dale King;
    and five great-grandchildren, Jason, Jasmine, Rebekah, Zara and Baby Taylor.

    Service for Carroll Cleo Hancock, 63, of Paradise was Aug. 20, at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Chaplain Gentry Castleman and Rev. Michael Wiltcher officiated. Burial followed at Hog Branch Cemetery near Boyd.
    Hancock died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2002, in Chico.
    Born Nov. 3, 1938, in Mize, Miss., he was a retired printer and had lived in the Paradise community since 1976. He married Dorothy Jean Hudson on Oct. 14, 1967, in Jackson, Miss. He was a member of the Victory Family Church in Decatur.
    He was preceded in death by his wife in May 2002; his parents, Clifton and Winnie Hancock and a sister, Peggy Hankins.
    He is survived by four daughters, Becky King and husband Dale of Forest, Miss., Debbie Johnson of Fort Worth, Darlene Lindsey and husband Larry of Chico and Judy Scroggins and husband Russell of Boyd; a son, Billy Turner and wife Lisa of Sweeney; 10 grandchildren, Renea Shepard and husband David, Dwayne Taylor and wife Marsha, Sammy Taylor, Amber Galloway and husband Rowdy, Steven and Greg Denney, Aubrey Turner, Stancy Denney, Keri Turner and Robert Dale King; five great-grandchildren, Jason, Jasmine, Rebekah, Zara and Gabe Taylor; a brother, Allen Hancock of Columbus, Miss; a sister, Ruby Mulvihill of Memphis, Tenn., and several nieces and nephews.
    Pallbearers were Joe Evans, Dickie Dunn, Art Davis, Harold Denney, Rick Denney and Ernie Downs.
