   Mrs. Ernest (Mary Evelyn Weakly) Scrogin [38349:J], 75, of Findlay, died at 4:53 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, 1989 in Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur.
   
   Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Lockart & Sons Funeral Home in Findlay. Vistation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Findlay Cemetery, Findlay. Memorials may be given to the United Methodist Church of Findaly.
   
   Mrs. Scrogin was born February 5, 1914 in Shelby County, the daughter of Otis and Mabel Yost Weakly. She was head cook at the Findlay High School for 31 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Findlay. She married Ernest Scrogin [38348:J]  on June 1 1935 in Bloomington, Ill.
   
   Surviving is her husband; one son, Carroll Wayne Scrogin [49521:J] of Moweaqua; one daughter, Betty Miner [40528:J] of Decatur; two brothers, Don Weakly and Cecil Weakly, both of Shelbyville; sister, Dorothy Shuff of Shelbyville; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
   
   One brother and two sisters have preceded her in death.

   SHELBYVILLE - Ernest E. Scrogin, 87, of Shelbyville, formerly of Findlay, died 4:25 a.m. Wednesday (Oct. 9, 2002) in Shelby Memorial Hospital.
   
   Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, with the Revs. George Constant and David Beerbower officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Findlay Cemetery. Memorials: Mount Pleasant Church of God, Assumption.
   
   Mr. Scrogin was born Sept. 21, 1915, in Findlay, the son of William Orville and Dora Pearl Claypool Scrogin. He was a retired farmer and worked for many years at the Findlay High School and Findlay Lumber Yard. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Church of God. He married Evelyn Weakly on June 1, 1935. She preceded him in death Nov. 13, 1989. He married Carvell Simpson Herton Grubb on Aug. 25, 1990.
   
   Surviving are his wife; son, Carroll Scrogin and wife Kay of Moweaqua; daughter, Betty Miner of Decatur; sister, Gladys Bendler of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Debby Helton of Mount Zion; Bradley Scrogin of Rockford; Stephanie Crawford of Arlington, Texas; Shelly Waller of Mount Zion; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
   
   He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife and sister, Mildred Neal.
