  Willie H. (Bill) Scroggins, age 82, passed away May 21, 2003 in Okla. City. He was born June 25, 1920 in Dierks, Ark. to Leroy and Nettie (Stricklin) Scroggins. The family moved to Wynona, OK where Bill lived during his school years. He served in the Civilian Conservation Corp. and served in the U.S. Marines during WWII. He married his high school sweetheart, Betty Irene Harris, on May 18, 1944 and spent 59 wonderful years together. Bill was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and a former member of Epworth United Methodist Church for 54 years. He retired from Consolidated Wholesale and enjoyed traveling with his wife after retirement. Bill was also a 32-degree mason. Bill is survived by his wife; Betty Irene Scroggins of Okla. City, brother; Kenneth Scroggins and wife Joyce of Tulsa, OK, several nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, May 24, 2003 at Wesley United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
