Jerry Scroggins
Jerry Glenn Scroggins, 60, a mechanic for American Airlines and owner of Scroggins Paint and Body, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2003 at home.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Christian-Hawkins Chapel. Burial was in Hog Branch Cemetery.
Mr. Scroggins was born in Boyd to Eugene and Mildred Lynch Scroggins. He married Nancy Stevenson Scroggins Nov. 25, 1988, in Azle. He organized the Boyd Moose Lodge, was a past governor, earned a fellowship degree and was a member of Moose Lodge 1100.
He was a volunteer at the VFW in Azle.
Mr. Scroggins was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Randy.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy; sons, Russell Scroggins and wife, Judy, Rod Scroggins and wife, Bonnie and Floyd Stanley; brothers, Delbert and wife, Ann, Norman and wife, Del Ray; sister, Delorice Illchen; five grandchildren.
