   LOU ELLEN SCROGINS, 76, of Covington, homemaker, died Saturday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Covington Memorial Gardens. Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home in Covington has charge. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Scrogins, the widow of Elbert Scrogins, leaves three daughters, Martha Spruill, Linda Scrogins and June Lightell, all of Memphis; a brother, Robert Blanchard of Covington, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
