Kay and Eddie Scroggins of Amarillo celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends at The Wolflin House. The event was hosted by their children.
Mr. Scroggins married the former Kay Thompson on Dec. 19, 1961, at Hamlet Baptist Church in Amarillo. They have lived in Amarillo for 60 years.
Mr. Scroggins retired from Southwestern Public Service Co. Mrs. Scroggins retired after working for the state of Texas.
Children of the couple are Mark and Rebecca Kay-Scroggins of Canyon and Mike and Melanie Scroggins of Amarillo. They have five grandchildren: John Kay and Mark Kay of Derby, Kan., and Ross Scroggins, Will Scroggins and Maggie Scroggins of Amarillo.
