Deceased Name: Brock, Vonie "Bonnie" Lee Scroggins
A resident of Denham Springs, she died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006, at her home. She was 71, born Nov. 15, 1934, in Madison Parish. Memorial service at Plainview Baptist Church, 25171 Joe May Road, Denham Springs, at the intersection of Walker South and Joe May Road, on Wednesday, Aug. 9, at 10:30 a.m., conducted by W. Shank, pastor. A fellowship lunch will immediately follow the memorial service at the home of John and Shirley Howze. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.W. Scroggins and Carie May Gill Scroggins; a beloved husband, Dale Leon Brock; and two beautiful grandchildren. Survivors include a brother, sister, six children, 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Vonie will be missed for her wit and joy that she brought to her family and friends.
