Funeral services for Elvin DeWayne Scroggins of Oklahoma City were held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Hugo Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. L.R. Drinkwater officiating. Interment was in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
Mr. Scroggins died November 20, 2004, in Oklahoma City. He was 33.
Surviving relatives: Two sons and five daughters; father, Melvin Scroggins, Jr., of Hugo; mother, Dorothy Scroggins of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Melvin Scroggins III of Minneapolis, Jaris Scroggins of Oklahoma City; five sisters, Vatencya Gains, Tialey Scroggins, Cassandra Scroggins, Sheneetra and Hiawana Scroggins, all of Oklahoma City; grandmother, Helen Scroggins of Hugo; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles.
