   Joe Anderson Scroggins, 95 passed away Monday, February 25, 2008 at Barry County Care Center.
   
   Joe was born, August 11, 1912 in Barry County Missouri to the late George Crightendon Scroggins and Mary (Walden) Scroggins. He married Aldora Bonner on September 17, 1939 in Eureka Springs AR, she preceded him in death on June 16, 2003.
   
   He was a retired gas truck driver for Empire Gas Company.
   
   He was preceeded in death by his parents, 3 brothers; Troy, Roy, and Harry, and 5 sisters; Mertie, Phoebe, Millie, Georgie, and Geneva. He was also preceded by one grandson, Tim Scroggins.
   
   He is survived by one son Gordon Scroggins, and wife Ginger of Lavaca, AR, and one daughter Jo Lynn Fields and husband Arlin of Cassville, MO. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren; Dustin and Todd Scroggins, Jacob and Steve Fields, James Gill, and Brandy Myers, and 5 great-grandchildren; Tim and Beau Scroggins, Austin Baxley, Joseph Fields, and Dravan Gill.
   
   Visitation will be from 6-8pm, Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Wheaton Funeral Home.
   
   Services will be at 1:00pm on Friday, February 29, 2008 at Wheaton Funeral Home with interrment to follow at Muncie Chapel Cemetery, Wheaton MO.
   
   Arragngements are handled by Wheaton Funeral Home, Wheaton, Missouri.
