Leroy "Mac" McCraw (1931 - 2009)
Leroy "Mac" McCraw, 78, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2009.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday in Brown, Owens & Brumley's Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel with Mr. Gary Young officiating. Private interment: Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Leroy was born Feb. 17, 1931, in Laurel, Miss., to LeRoy and Ruby McCraw. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Helen McCraw.
Survivors: Daughter, Judy Scroggins and husband, Danny; stepdaughter, Carolyn Quinn and husband, Pilson; sister, Annette Young and husband, Gary; brother, David McCraw and wife, Jean; brother, Jack McCraw and wife, Millie; sister, Linda Gavin and husband; five granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
