Cathy McCabe
Cathy McCabe of Denver passed away July 7, 2009, at 64 years of age. She was born Mary Catherine Tallarico, on April 22, 1945, in Keokuk, Iowa, and lived in Denver most of her life. She attended Loretto Heights College and graduated from St. Louis University in 1967. At various times, Cathy taught Spanish and English at North Arvada Junior High School and worked as a commercial real estate broker and financial planner. At all times she was the consummate wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her husband, John, her children, Michael McCabe (Denver) and Christine Scroggins [48365] (Maple Grove, Minn), and three grandchildren, Charlie [49225], Leo [49226] and Henry [49227] (Maple Grove, Minn). She is also survived by her mother, Marie Tallarico (Keokuk, Iowa), and her sisters, Judith Carrell (Plano, Texas), Sally Tallarico (Dallas, Texas), Susan Kennedy (Appleton, Wis), Tina Cutter (Fort Worth, Texas), and Teri Gardner (Scottsdale, Ariz). In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Rocky Mountain Environmental Health Association or the Colfax Community Network.
